Abstract

The Effects of Grammar and Vocabulary Mastery towards Students’ Writing Skill in English Narrative Text (Survey at State Senior High School in Cirebon). The objectives of the research are to know 1) The effects of grammar and vocabulary mastery towards the students’ writing skill in English narrative text. 2) The effects of grammar mastery towards the students’ writing skill in English narrative text. 3) The effects of vocabulary mastery towards the students’ writing skill in English narrative text. The research was conducted by Survey method using multiple regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing are: 1) There are significant effects of grammar and vocabulary mastery towards the students’ writing skill in English narrative text at State Senior High School in Cirebon students. This is proved by the value of Sig = 0.000 < 0.005 dan Faccount= 180.660. 2) There is significant effect of grammar mastery towards the students’ writing skill in English narrative text at State Senior High School in Cirebon students. This is proved by the value of Sig = 0.000 < 0.05 dan taccount= 5.465. 3) There is significant effect of vocabulary mastery towards the students’ writing skill in English narrative text at State Senior High School in Cirebon students. This is proved by the value of Sig= 0.000 < 0.05 and taccount= 11.691.
